seems to work out good. some reviews indicating case not secure to ipad but is good for my evaluation. not sure about protection of ipad from drop standpoint as not occured for me. case is harder than my case for iphone. with iphone have dropped many times with no damage to iphone. the ipad case is little harder plastic so maybe not absorb drop forces on ground contact as well. will update if drop ipad in future.

Thick and sturdy, but heavy (223 grams, 8.3 oz). I used this for 1.5 months, and realized how heavy this was once replaced to other case this morning since the color has turned black-ish.The pictures show the contrast between background and the spot where I put a sticker on.
