It’s a brilliant case, after spending over a grand on a piece of equipment I wanted the case to be fully equipped to protect and become one with the device. This case does that and more. After doing a lot of research I decided on this case as it’s basically 2 layers of protection, not one. You have the inner thick rubber sleeve that fits the ipad in it snugly, it makes it easier to hold and has a nice amount of lip around the camera for protection when putting the device flat down on the table. It’s magnets are extremely strong and there’s no way it would be able to fall off without Gail force winds and Almira Gulch flying past on her bicycle in a tornado on her way to the west of Oz.It’s also great that it has the outer case too which also acts as a stand which is fabulous! Multiple viewing angles and stylish to boot. I am very happy with my purchase and I look forward to using this case for years to come.

I took a bit of a gamble ordering this cover. I own an iPad Pro 12.9” 3rd generation and did a bit of research to compare the 3rd gen’s measurements vs the latest iPad Pro, they are nearly identical and as you can see in my attached photo, the camera fits perfectly. This is probably one of the best iPad covers you can buy. So many different ways in how the cover can be used plus I love the option of removing the ipad while it’s still protected on the back as well as on the sides. It’s super sturdy and the magnets are strong! Expensive but highly recommended and worth the investment.

I’ve had Zugu cases since I got my first full-size iPad for college. After a few months of use, I prefer this one by a wide margin.Pros:1) Much more stable for the lower angles. Zugu would often collapse when I tried to write or illustrate on the lowest angle. This was my biggest gripe with Zugu as a student taking notes and an artist using drawing apps on a daily basis2) Ability to have the case sideways is a HUGE plus and makes reading vertical-only content (like infinite-scroll webcomics) a lot easier3) Ability to detatch iPad from stand and still have a case on also a HUGE plusCons:1) Heavier than Zugu by a noticeable amount. Not a dealbreaker for me, even as a person who carries around a 12.9-inch iPad with one hand and lugs it around campus all day.2) The pen doesn’t have a secure nook to sit in. I worried I would lose my apple pencil a lot, but it’s only popped off a few times and usually into the laptop compartment of my bag. Still, not great. I dislike leaving the pencil in it’s fabric holder because then it’s not charging and also makes the iPad no longer flat3) The magnets are kind of weak. This may be an issue mostly because of the size of my iPad. Zugu had the same problem when I switched from an 10.9 to a 12.9 case. Doesn’t apply to the magnets in the case directly around the iPad, which are strong enough to make getting the iPad off the fridge a mildly terrifying exercise

I usually wouldn’t spend this much for tablet case. How many times has your tablet fell backwards because the easel wouldn’t stay put? I just didn’t think they made them this strong, but you have to spend a little more if you want something decent, not to mention taking the time to look at a lot of them. Just using the touchscreen would make it fall over. You can get the ones that just tri-fold into an easel but they fail also. One thing I wish they would’ve put on this one was a tab at the top in the back of the initial tablet holder to get a better grip when taking it off the base. I wasn’t expecting the magnets to be so strong. It fell on my foot a couple times, but frankly, that’s my problem, it sits at the edge of a platform on my night stand. The magnetic hold that keeps it to the easel part is great and so are the magnets that keep the easel in its slots on both the bigger and the smaller easel. It doesn’t fall back anymore when I touch the screen. I realized that the part that holds the pencil folds out as an easel also for typing or art mode, yes it shows in the pictures but didn’t register in my mind of course. Nothing new. I would rather have the pencil in a pocket, then magnetically connected to the top of the iPad. I don’t know if that can do something to the battery since it’s constantly charging on the iPad. This tablet has a few pluses and I love it that the screen can be raised. When you’re using Face ID. Usually have to bend over a little bit so it’ll register. Even better when you’re viewing a video, I can do so without stress on my neck. I use this iPad for watching videos at night (I don’t watch a television any more) in my bedroom and the screen height makes a big difference. Another plus is you can take the screen off the base and still have your iPad protected in case if you drop it and it lands on something beside your foot, that could actually break it. I guess that’s why we buy cases for them. The magnets were a lot stronger than I thought they would be and I’m learning how to take it off without losing my grip. Usually, I would spend no more than $25 for case, but this is a very good case and I’m glad I spent the extra $. I didn’t get the color I wanted because it cost a little more, but can live with a black one. Hey, I like Color. The material it’s made of let’s you get a decent grip on the device, another important aspect. If I missed anything, I’m sure someone else will cover it. I would recommend this tablet case. iPads are expensive so you better protect them. It took me a while to come to that conclusion, but it finally sunk in. I’m very particular about my devices. I sold an older smaller one to a friend last week, She was amazed there wasn’t a scratch on it, even though I told her it was in perfect cosmetic condition.
