This is a great iPad case. It seems sturdy, the magnets that hold the iPad to the case are strong, and I like how you can angle the iPad up and down while attached to the keyboard. However, there are multiple things that stop me from loving this product. The keyboard being number one. Any keyboard shortcuts you try won’t work. Ctrl + C,V,Z? Doesn’t work. Not only that, but I’m so used to using these shortcuts, I go to press the ctrl button quite often – but the FN button is in its place, causing me to switch between the normal keyboard and the emoji menu. This is quite frustrating. The second thing that I also don’t love is the amount of movement you get out of the actual case. I draw quite a bit, but you cannot use this case to hold it up. There’s minimal movement in the "hinge", so while you technically can tilt it up and down, it’s not enough if you were planning on drawing. I’ve settled with just taking the Ipad off of the magnetic backing and settling it on the keyboard and leaning it back against the backing.I like the case enough to keep using it, but if I had to buy it again, I don’t think I would. I’d buy something else that caters to my needs more. Also, considering how expensive this case is, it just blows my mind that basic copy and paste shortcuts don’t work.

ESR Case with Keyboard is a perfect fit for iPad Pro 12.9. I’ve had it for some time now & it performs every time on any task. I highly recommend it 👌!

I was skeptical this could hold the iPad vertically as not even the much more expensive Apple Magic Keyboard didn’t. This is a solid unit and feels better quality. Only two minor cons – easy to see oil from hands on it and it doesn’t charge both the keyboard and iPad simultaneously. Keyboard backlight is great too. Bought one for me then three more for coworkers.

Item is like the Apple Magic Keyboard. Yes a touch screen. But yea have to press it to tap. But hey. Apples one will cost you 300 odd and this thing is way below 80 so well worth it for the tapping the touch pad. Awesome item if you want the same as Apple without paying so much.

Heavy. Functional. Doesn’t stand out to me, but it does what it advertised. Haven’t used enough to judge battery longevity.

This keyboard case is so much better than every other option on the market including Apple’s keyboard. It sits up on its own. It holds the iPad landscape or portrait. You can take the iPad off the magnetic holder and it has a protective case for when you want to just hold it in your hand. The keyboard’s keys are spaced well and it connects by Bluetooth. It’s just the best one out there and I did a ton of research!

Earlier this year I purchased a pre-owned iPad 12.9” Pro on Ebay. It came with a folding case, but I looked to upgrade my experience with a keyboard and trackpad version. I purchased a Nillkin folding keyboard with trackpad here on ESR. I really tried to like it, but I found the trackpad to be inadequate. It was intermittent in response to gestures, So I returned it and purchased this ESR iPad Pro 12.9 Case with Keyboard, Easy-Set Magnetic Stand at the end of July. I love it. The keyboard is the closest match to my Magic Keyboard, with a great tactile feel and response. It has all of the same features of the genuine Apple version, so all shortcuts, etc. work fine. The trackpad has been nothing less than amazing, very responsive and accurate. I also like the magnetic holder on top for the Apple Pencil. When closed, the case has a protective magnetic flap that covers the pencil to protect it against loss or damage. It charges conveniently with a USB-C port on the right side near the rear. The battery appears robust and charges to full rapidly and lasts a long time. Yes, it doesn’t charge from the iPad as the Apple version does, but I really don’t care about that. It suits my needs just fine, and for less than half the price, who can argue. The unit (I got the white version) is slick looking and doesn’t easily tip over when in your lap. The case itself offers excellent protection to the iPad. I dropped mine several times and the case completely protected my device. And it is very easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth, keeping that new look. So in conclusion, I am extremely happy with this case and recommend it to anyone who wants to expand their iPad experience without shelling out big bucks to Apple for their version!

Well made and designed. Magnets make it very heavy but it’s built solidly. I also like the ability to raise the screen and tilt it vertically.
