Yes. This case is compatible with all ESR screen protectors. It should also be compatible with most third-party protectors too, but we can’t guarantee compatibility. For the best fit and overall protection, we recommended pairing it with an ESR screen protector.
No. The detachable magnetic cover can also be removed to make the case even lighter.

I love this case and its freedom to remove the iPad from the flap is so nice. Have had at-least 6 months and have had minimal wear and tear on it (hand full of scuffs, ink splatter from pen explosion and and some backpack glitter shown in pictures ).The magnate pencil holder has kept my pen secured and I have no concerns of loosing it. It’s relatively light weight for a iPad case.fits tightly on my iPad and does not impede the buttons. Though I have not intentionally tested it, it seems to have kept my iPad safe in impact and jostling in backpack. Note I have never straight up dropped so don’t know if it’s reliable there.

I absolutely love this case, and I think it’s the best one out there, especially in white. Unlike other cases that easily get stained and are impossible to clean, this one is super easy to maintain and always looks great. The quality is top-notch.It’s a bit heavy since it’s a two-in-one case, but that doesn’t bother me much. I initially wanted a magnetic case, but I’m prone to dropping my devices, so this has been a much better option for me. My iPad has fallen off my bed twice, and nothing happened—not even a crack on the screen protector, which usually cracks easily, so the protection this case provides is really good.Another feature I love is that you can adjust the case to several different angles. Highly recommend!

I liked the other ESR case that I had which was a hard case that they don’t sell anymore so I bought this one. This case is pretty heavy and adds about a pound and a half to the iPad. The texture is really nice and I can see it being fairly easy to clean. The only thing I don’t like is that the pen flap is attached to the back of the case instead of the the front. It doesn’t keep the front of the case on snugly. The flap also doesn’t properly attach if you have it in the standing position verse when its flat. (the video shows what i mean). Other than that, it’s a good case so far and I recommend getting it.
