This MagSafe car mount is only compatible with iPhones with MagSafe (12 series or later), ESR magnetic cases, official MagSafe cases, and standard cases with the ESR Universal Ring.
This MagSafe car mount is specifically designed for Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model Y, Tesla Model X (2023), and Tesla Model S (2023). It includes an alignment guide to ensure perfect positioning on these car’s touchscreens, but can also be installed on other car’s dashboards.

I bought this to use with my new 2023 Toyota Corolla because it too has a build in touch screen display in the dash like a Tesla just not as big. I Simply aligned it on my display with how I wanted my phone to sit next to the display. I also replaced the MagSafe magnet with one from my other car mount that works better with my phone and case. Once installed it cleaned up my dash and keeps my phone directly in my line of sight so I can see my phone and use it without turning my head away. This is especially great for doing my side job, Uber. All in all, if you have a new Toyota Corolla and are looking for a great way to hold your phone without ruining your dash, this is the answer!!!

I don’t own a Tesla or a car with a tablet style infotainment system. I installed mine on a 2017 Subaru Impreza, which has a dashboard above the infotainment screen.I chose ESR because the price was surprisingly cheap, the design is super clean, and it was not a vent mount. I specifically bought a mount only (non-charging) because my CarPlay is wired.The installation was straightforward and simple. I probably didn’t need the installation video, but watched it anyways for any tips I should know about the product. Lucky thing I did, you need to wait 2 hours after installing for the adhesive to set although the mount seemed pretty stable immediately.Prior to this MagSafe mount, I had a Belkin MagSafe Vent Mount Pro ($39.99) but it rattled so much on my vertical vent that I had to take it back to the Apple Store. Another fatal flaw with the Belkin was that the magnet was so sadly weak and my phone would fly off when I hit a pot hole, and I would have to take off my MagSafe wallet every time I used it.I was pleasantly surprised with ESR’s magnet,which was strong enough to hold my phone WITH THE MOFT WALLET I LOVE SO MUCH! This is a such a game changer! I didn’t even realize how much constantly taking off the wallet bothered me until I no longer had to.That alone is deserving of 5 stars IMHO, but I did take one star off because ESR requires a review to extend the warranty from 12 months to 24 months, on top of registering your product. Also, because I just received the product today and can’t speak for the longevity of the product. But I have to say, I do love it so far!

Placed it on the dash of my Audi A3. Very strong magnets holds the phone in any position. Need to see if the 3M adhesive sticker will stay on the dash over the next few weeks/months. Overall very very pleased 👌🏽 ordered another one for my Prado ❤️🥳

Really wanted to like this but find that the hinged part of the bracket has no means to tighten the resistance and so every time I accelerate, my phone swings out of position and needs to be manually adjusted. I love the minimalist approach and look of this, just this aspect seems poorly thought through and I may be forced to replace with a different product as issue is getting worse as resistance in the hinge continues to reduce.

This is so nice and so well put together . The instruction video was very well explained . My dog loved his gift . The set up was easy and fast and the magnet is very strong!! Lots of ways to put it and adjust . I recommend this a lot

I needed something to hold my phone in the car and found this. For the value this is good. It fits good right behind the Tesla screen and is very stable on bumpy roads. Only gripe I have is the magnet is very strong. It takes two hand to pull off and you really have to pull it off. Overall it’s not bad

After a few months, I noticed my phone mount start to sag. Took a look a the mount and notice the threaded ring that holds the tension was cracked. Emailed customer service and they responded quickly to my concern and shipped out a replacement ASAP – great customer service!!!! Thank you
