I found the keyboard to be good, little typing noise. The adjustable hinge also works well. What was disappointing was the cheap plastic back for an iPad. I use the Apple pen, and when the iPad is removed from the keyboard cover, the pen quite easily falls off. I hate that. I like the backs where there is a pocket attached where the pen fits. Impossible to loose the pen then. I use the keyboard and fitted my iPad into a Pipetto flip folder, which is very good quality. Wish ESR learns from this and get a quality back with a pen pocket.

Quality feels good, nice to the touch. Hope it performs just as well!

I am enjoying the case so far.

Sturdy case, a little bit on the heavy side at 630g however, I am satisfied regardless. The overall quality of the product is better than I expected. Highly recommended!

Very good product for this price

Firstly, I’ll say the product feels very premium and just like an apple keyboard case with a slightly cheaper keyboard. My issue came down to input lag. I spoke with their support and couldn’t find a resolution. I’d say 80% of the time you can type away just fine but it’ll have the odd hiccup where the keyboard doesn’t really respond for 1-3 seconds. It was enough of an annoyance to me that I returned it. For casual use, I think it is fine but would be quite bothersome of working off of.

I have had this for a few weeks now and it has a habit of disconnecting and will not reconnect. Have to "forget device" and re-pair. In researching this issue I found that this also occurs with the much more expensive Apple version so likely a software issue. But when it is connected it works really well and is a great price.

ESR is usually a brand that I go to when it comes to iPhone cases because the quality is very good. I recently got an iPad Pro 11 inch and saw this case that included a keyboard and a detachable case. I thought it was a great combo in the event I don’t need to use the keyboard and I just want to use the case. The quality is pretty good – a silicone like feel outside and a very comfortable keyboard layout. I feel that it does a good job at protecting the iPad and it has a magnetic flap to keep the cover closed and an Apple Pencil secure. This case is definitely a step closer to making an iPad feel like a portable laptop computer device. The keyboard has a form of LED lighting that can switch colors using the fn key. A lot of the extra keys to control the iPads brightness and sound is pretty neat and gives a nice quality of life update. Keystrokes are pretty comfortable and I don’t feel cramped when typing. It has a MAC layout so you don’t need to worry about trying to figure out the Windows equivalent when trying to locate the command key. While I did list quite a few good things about this case, there are a few that were a deal breaker for me and I wanted to just look for another case for my iPad. The first case I got had a Bluetooth connection issue where the keyboard would suddenly stop for about 5 seconds and I cannot type or use the trackpad. It would randomly connect again – which really slows down productivity especially when I am typing a script or other document. I received a replacement, but the magnetic flap that attaches to the back of the case when folding is not as strong, but the keyboard works perfectly fine without disconnections. With these small issues, I find the price and the quality very trivial, but at the same time it could be that I was not lucky to receive two possibly defective units.I am going to shop around for another case, but this case – if it works flawlessly – would be a great case for the iPad Pro.

My son loves that he is able to type on his ipad like it\’s a laptop. The keys are crisp to the touch.. downside is it needs to be charged separately and is quite heavy.

The case is sturdy and fits well. But the response time for both the mouse and the keyboard are so slow I at first thought it was broken. If you are looking for just a case, I\’m betting this brand would be great. But if you want to use your iPad with the keyboard, do not get this.
