This ring can be used with any smooth PC or TPU case that does not have a non-slip coating and is no greater than 4 mm thick.
To ensure correct installation, please watch the instruction video prior to installation and use the included alignment guide. Once the ring is attached, it cannot be repositioned or reattached. If it is improperly attached, please remove and attach another ring.
What is the difference between the ESR HaloLock Universal Ring and ESR HaloLock Universal Ring 360?
Both rings enable MagSafe compatibility for standard PC or TPU cases. However, the ESR HaloLock Universal Ring 360 features a magnetic tail design to keep magnetic accessories locked in one direction.

Love it but in the car when I it a pot whole it falls from my support to the ground.

My Pixel 7 is in an Otterbox which was too thick for the magnetic holder in my car. Put one of these rings on the back and it stays put. The glue holds the ring to the Otterbox and the magnet holds the ring. The ring does not interfere with wireless charging.

Put it on my plastic phone case and now it mounts to the wireless charger perfectly.

Overall very good performance. The die cut was not straight clean in one of the two rings. Very strong adhesion to the car mount.Wish it was even thinner. But it is ok. Good value.

Before I ordered this I did ask a question on ESR if it was magnetic since reviews were mixed on the subject. The question didn’t help since every other person said yes it was and the others said no. The real answer is NO. It’s just metal with a sticky side to put on your phone. Okay so I’ve only had this a few days so I can’t comment on the longevity of it however it does feel solid. The sticky side is very sticky and stuck to my clear case very well with proper cleaning. Will update this review if it ever falls off my case. Installed it on 11/27/24. It holds very strong on my magsafe car charger mounted on the dash and doesn’t fall off. My phone is quite heavy so that was surprising. As you can see from my attached photos it’s as thick as a standard credit card. So keep that in mind if you were hoping it was more flush. Doesn’t bother me at all. The dark green color is nice on my phone but I was hoping it would match my phone better but either way I’m okay with it.

I bought a removable rotating stand for the back of my phone and tablet, bought these as I wanted white and not the black provided with the stand. They are thicker than the ones with my stands, and the magnets stick to them more securely. Came with guides to apply although I still managed to get one wonky

This ring works super well. I bought it for a portable battery that I bought for my cell phone and the magnetism is strong. Since originally my phone was not holding the portable battery and it kept falling.
