Finally found one that fits super snug for my GLA!!! Super easy to install (didn’t need instructions), fits and feels really sturdy, and it’s situated right beside the screen so it doesn’t block any views or buttons on the middle console (see pictures)!!! I don’t normally write detailed reviews, but this is worth mentioning!

I have a Halo Lock on my phone and this holder is terrific! It holds the phone super securely (not a chance it will fall off) and is easy to install (took all of about one minute). Definitely recommend this product if you have a compatible phone.

I have a 2017 Forester and the centre vents are slanted backwards. Trying to find a phone mount with good articulation was a challenge. I first mounted this mount with the hook facing down and it was pulling the louvres to the close position and was bending them. I like the fact you can twist the hook which ever way you like and I positioned it upwards and it worked even better. It is very sturdy and hardly moves.

This mount is great. It was a free replacement for a slightly different vent mount that I had for almost two years, also from ESR Gear. The customer service is awesome. What I like about this mount than the other one is that it will definitely not fall off the vent, like how the one with the clip did unfortunately. The only downside is that because of the strong fit on the vent, the vent no longer moves up and down, however it still moves side to side. The magnetic HaloLock is amazingly strong. The customer service at ESR Gear is second to none…thanks team!
