The kickstand is completely metallic with metallic hinge. I have put it on the phone case from Spigen and it doesn’t look it’s gonna leave the case without forcefully pulling it out. Also got an extra double-sided glue strip. It is lightweight and sturdy. Size is appropriate for my phone size. It has thickness few mm extra than the camera bump on my phone but I don’t mind it if does the work. Quality is really good.

I like these so much. They’re sturdy and work as expected. I buy these for every new iPhone I buy. So far I think I’ve bought like 8 of these. My wife and kids also love these little kickstands. What I also like about these is it keeps iPhones from wobbling when set down flat. Also, the extra bulk at the bottom of the iPhone gives me a better grip when holding my iPhone.

I love being able to watch videos on my phone while cooking & the stand works great for that. Folds in & of easily. However, the adhesive does not hold up. Mine started coming off within a week of putting it on. If I could find an adhesive that would keep it on my phone, I would be completely satisfied.

I like this stand. It feel it’s well made and does a great job supporting an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Unfortunately, it’s critical other iPhone users be aware of the issue this stand can cause. I have owned several iPhones which have been dropped many times in their cases. I never had the glass break on any of them, until I added this stand on this phone. The stand unfortunately compromises the protection of the phones case. This phone was dropped flat on its back from about 2’ as it had been before. With this stand attached it caused the back glass to shatter. The stand absorbed all the impact focusing it directly where it was mounted rather than spreading it evenly across the case. I advise anyone with an iPhone to use caution when adding this stand to an iPhone case.

The stand works well and holds the phone up vertically and horizontally. The tape holds the stand on the case securely. I really like the metal quality of this stands. It also makes for a good fidget toy. I really enjoyed using this stand. However in the short time of using this stand with my iPhone which has a glass back the case identified a fundamental flaw. Over the 4 years of owning this phone it’s been dropped many times without damage. It was eligible for $300 trade in with apple. Unfortunately I added this stand a month ago and recently the phone fell flat on its back from about 2′ high. Due to the protrusion of the stand, small foot print and metal construction, when it fell it cause the impact of the drop was focused in the area of the stand location and not absorbed across the case. This focused impact caused the back glass of the iPhone to shatter in the location of the stand. It required tape to prevent small glass fragments from continuing to separate. Since this compromises the protection of the iPhone case I would not recommend this unless there is additional protection built up around the case perimeter to evenly distribute the impact and reduce the chance of damage to the phone.

There were no supplied instructions for installation. I cleaned the back of the phone with the supplied wipes. There isn’t enough thickness of the adhesive tape to mount the stand on a flat surface, so I applied the second piece to the first. Unfortunately it doesn’t feel anchored. It works ok with at a landscape angle but popped off when set to portrait.

This kickstand is fantastic! It’s well-made, sleek, and the adhesive is incredibly strong. It sticks to my phone securely and doesn’t feel like it’s going to come off anytime soon. I love how compact it is and doesn’t add much bulk to my phone.However, there’s one caveat. I have a foldable phone which is significantly heavier than a standard smartphone. While the kickstand generally holds my phone up just fine, it struggles sometimes. Occasionally, and this can be quite annoying, the kickstand simply gives out and collapses while I’m watching videos or if I tap the screen.Overall, this is a great product, but I would hesitate to recommend it for users with heavier foldable devices. If you have a standard smartphone, you’ll likely find this kickstand to be perfect.
