   ESR made an almost perfect iPad keyboard/case. I’ll start off with the positives, the biggest in my opinion are the price, functionality, and protection. This keyboard is literally one third of the price of the official Apple Magic Keyboard, which makes it more accessible for a lot of people. The keys and trackpad feel really nice, and have a really good clicky feel, something that the apple keyboard has a bit less of due to its fabric design. I also really enjoy the magnetic case included, it feels like a lot better protection than just a keyboard folio which completely exposes the iPad sides. This case makes my iPad feel safe and very secure.Now onto the negatives. While the battery life of the case is impressive, having its own battery significantly adds to the weight. The official apple magic keyboard weighs only a pound, while this case is 2.5 pounds. Combining the weight of this case and the iPad makes it as heavy as a 14 inch MacBook Pro, which makes my backpack significantly heavier compared to a normal case. I’m not sure how open source Apple makes the Smart Connector on the iPads but using that interface instead of bluetooth would really help with the weight problem, as well as the small amount of latency with the mouse, so I hope ESR can make some Smart Connector keyboards in the future.Overall, for 1/3 the price of the apple keyboard I can definitely take some extra weight, especially since it doesn’t affect the iPad battery life which is nice. This keyboard transforms the iPad into a (almost, but that’s Apple’s fault) fully functional laptop, which is really nice to have since it’s more portable than most laptops. ESR made a really capable solution for a really good price, and I definitely recommend this keyboard over the official Apple keyboard if you want to save money.

   Best ipad keyboard one could ever buy

   I bought this case for my Ipad Air 5th Gen and it is one of the best decisions I have made rather than buying overpriced apple’s magic keyboard. Following are the best features which I enjoyed about this keyboard –
   1. Rebound case offers additional silicon case for the iPad which you cannot find for any other iPad Keyboard cases, they only come with magnetic keyboard (Even Apple’s magic keyboard). This help your Ipad to be scratch-free and provides extra grip when using without keyboard.
   2. Backlight keyboard – Helps while using it during the night or in darker environment.
   3, Battrey percetage – Visible battrey percentage and Capslock indicator helps to manage your battrey. You generally don’t need to bother about battrey management because it lasts for almost a month.

   After 3 months of using the ESR Magnetic Keyboard Case for my iPad, and overall, it’s a good alternative to the Magic Keyboard, serving its intended purpose well. The compact design took some getting used to, but the light key feature, although not a daily necessity for me, comes in handy when needed.Battery life has been decent for my daily usage, averaging 6 hours a day, and I’ve only had to charge it twice in the past 3 months. Quick charging and efficient power management are definite pluses. Connectivity is generally good, though there are occasional lags, especially with the space bar at times. I believe this is a general issue for non-Apple network Bluetooth keyboards, you’ll always encounter a little lag.The magnetic case is a great addition, making it easy to attach and remove the iPad. The adjustable height feature is convenient for getting the screen closer to eye level, but be mindful of weight balancing, especially when moving the screen up. It works best on a flat surface, and if using on your lap, a pillow or lap desk helps maintain stability.The standout issue, however, is with the white version. While it looks sleek, keeping it clean is a challenge. As I purchased this as a portable workstation while I’m traveling, messes are expected to happen when moving from location to location; but I did not expect that it would be this difficult to clean. The outer layer of the case can be wiped down, but stubborn marks may leave a stain. Cleaning the keyboard itself is a disappointment, especially in the areas where hands rest, as the material is not easy to clean. Stains on the edges of the keyboard base are unavoidable and permanent, I’ve tried wipes and a magic eraser which usually fixes all mess but no luck. I highly recommend opting for the black version to avoid these unsightly issues. I hope ESR will consider these pain points for any future updates for the white version of this keyboard.Another thing to note, the case’s weight adds to the overall iPad setup, which might be a concern for some users.Despite these drawbacks, the ESR Magnetic Keyboard Case remains a solid choice for those seeking an alternative to the Magic Keyboard, provided you choose the right colour for practicality and can accommodate the added weight.**Pros:**1. Compact and portable design.2. Optional light key feature.3. Decent battery life with quick charging.4. Includes a convenient magnetic case.5. Adjustable height for improved ergonomics.6.    Used it for almost a month. This keyboard works well with the ipad and does what its supposed to do. Used it for the kids elearning and they have no problems with it at all. Definitely cheaper than the logitechs or the original one. Battery life has been quite good as well.

   This REBOUND is ESR’s latest iPad keyboard case that supports using it in portrait mode. The other, and older case is ESR’s ASCEND (https://www.ESR.com/gp/product/B09N72W7KX). They both offer the same functions, like the portrait mode, Bluetooth keyboard, trackpad, and a better value compared to Apple’s and Logitech ones.There are plenty of cheaper ones by other manufacturers, but they all come at the sacrifice of materials, quality and connectivity. ESR has a good track record of releasing quality products, customer support, and unique (sometimes weird) designs.I’ve tested both, and this review can help you understand why they are designed for different workflows.Materials and Durability:- This REBOUND case is heavier at 891g versus the ASCEND’s 650g, and you’ll feel the difference in your hands. It’s heavy – if you combine the REBOUND with an iPad Pro 11, the total weight is actually heavier than the 13" M2 MacBook Air!- The REBOUND is chonky, with a plush exterior and tastefully centered logo. To me, the most significant difference is in the case that holds the iPad itself – The ASCEND uses a hard plastic that’s prone to crack around the camera, while the REBOUND uses a pliable TPU to wrap around the iPad, eliminating that problem.- The REBOUND iPad case has a soft microfiber lining compared to the ASCEND’s hard interior. This prevents scuffs to your iPad’s body.Keyboard.- While the photos show that the ASCEND’s keyboard has a larger layout, its keys are smaller and feel unstable while typing. The REBOUND’s keyboard has larger, well-spaced keys that allow for faster, more accurate typing with its sturdy case backing.- The ASCEND does include full media keys and quick access buttons, but overall, the REBOUND delivers a superior typing experience.Trackpad.- The ASCEND’s larger size means you can navigate the entire iPad screen without repeatedly swiping.    The case is heavy duty and sturdy. Tactile feedback is also decent in the key and key spacing is sufficient.Having a trackpad makes it feel like a mac. I chose the 360 version so that I get the liberty to use it with and without the keyboard. Definitely worth the money and much more VFM than the Apple Magic keyboard. Go for it !

   This is a must have iPad addition! Typically I use my iPad to connect back to my laptop or desktop using various remote control apps. It is always a pain to have to type using the iPad keyboard on the remote computer and the touch vs mouse relation also tends to be a bit off. Using this keyboard and trackpad case solves that! The trackpad works flawlessly (gives a grey dot instead of a mouse pointer on iPad) and the keyboard works great. The case is protective and I like that it allows me to sit the iPad on my lap and use it just like a laptop. Also another great plus is that the charger for the case is the same as the iPad! Time will tell on battery life but so far it is holding up great while working on it for a full day. As an added plus the case also supports my apple pencil in that it does not get in the way.

   Pro – Super easy setup. Very responsive. Has added durable case that attaches well so not unprotected when not needing keyboard part. Pen charges through the slot on top of case.Con – wish it tipped back another 10-15 degrees like Apple version. No hot keys like some other versions. Not sure how good battery life is.

   The product is high quality. I only had an issue with the iPad case that comes with it. My iPad Pro apple pencil wouldn’t charge through the plastic that covers the entire iPad. Their customer service responded very quickly to resolve my issue. If you don’t use the Pro apple pencil you won’t have any issues. Overall, this brand is good quality and I had a great experience with their customer service so I would recommend them.

    TLDR: Overall the case/keyboard is great, and a good Magic Keyboard alternative. I would recommend it.I have been using this product for a couple weeks, and my experience has been good but with some negative sides as well.Pros:1. Magnetic connection is strong and reliable;2. Keyboard is great. The connection is really fast, and keys are nice to type on;2. Hybrid/snap case protects the iPad from drops (material seems very cheap though);3. External materials and keyboard looks like premium and durable material.Cons:1. Hybrid/snap case cutout does not fit almost any USB C cable, and leaves some parts of the iPad out (very minimum, but still). I’m not sure I got a faulty snap case. I think this takes the whole usability of the iPad with USB C which is connecting a dongle/monitor;2. Stand/case is not sturdy at all. Depending on how you type and/if you use the touch functionality with it, it’s going to be stumbling all the time;3. Trackpad sometimes is funky. But, I guess this is with any product that is not from Apple.Although there are some negative points to this keyboard/case I would still recommend it. I think the cons can be lived with as the pros are greater. In addition, the cutout for the hybrid/snap case can be easily fixed, and I strongly hope that when ESR fix this they sell it individually.
