I’m not the type of person that will immediately write a review or upload a YouTube video like most do, but I’ve never felt like I got my money’s worth than I did with this case. “It’s just a case, right?” Wrong! This case allows me to do everything from typing comfortably to digital design, and the price was outstanding. I was a little skeptical about other reviews and it’s real world use, but this thing is solid. Engineers/designers and team more than than deserved that 2023 award. I had never heard of this company, but I will be using and promoting them! Great job ESR!
Notes:
Apple Pencil’s still attaches to the iPad with the case on, so the pocket is optional. Cameras are unbothered. Reviewed with iPad 11 Pro (4th gen).

This case is very versatile giving you all around protection for your iPad and the second part also acts as a stand with many configurations and viewing angles. When using the stand portion of the case the iPad feels very sturdy and the magnetic connection in each slot is pretty strong. The case on its own is super lightweight, but still provides ample protection all around. If you have an iPad Pro 11 inch 2nd generation this will still work, but you’ll notice that it covers some of your speaker holes on the top/bottom of the iPad. However, the functionality is all the same so still worth a look if you’re okay with that small gripe.

I just received this case and put it on my iPad Pro. It is replacing the original case (from another supplier) that I had on it for almost 2 years that was falling apart due to the cracked plastic holding the iPad in the case.I love the design because the entire edge of the iPad is enclosed in the plastic housing. The housing is then magnetically held on to the folio cover. It has two flaps that support the cover in the various positions – a 2/3 one for the reading position and a 1/3 one for the writing position. The writing position support flap also has a cutout for the camera. My design improvement would be to not punch out a hole in the support flap for the camera because you can fold the flap down to take a picture with the iPad. This keeps the camera covered and protected when not in use.

This iPad case works really well when it’s on the stand that it comes with but the uneven placement of the magnets means that you can’t flip the iPad the other direction if your charger is on the other side because the magnets will no longer stick. Similarly on the fridge if you put it vertically or with the side with weaker magnets pointing down then it starts to slide. I also really wish that the front cover stayed shut, either magnetically or with a strap. Right now it constantly locks/unlocks the screen

As a power user of my iPad Pro 11-inch (2018), I always look for the best case that will not only protect the iPad but allow me to use it comfortably. My primary use case for my iPad is to take notes, typed and handwritten, and for media consumption second. ESR’S case allows me to do both very comfortably and offers so many options to use the iPad mini without the worry of getting it damaged (especially scratching it). The following are the pros and cons of this case:Pros:- Multi-angle viewing of content thanks to the cover (landscape only, but it’s nice to have the angles appropriate for viewing content as well as angles low enough for when you need enough incline to write comfortably)- The iPad can lays perfectly even when on a flat surface, especially when hand-writing notes- Case is slim and lightweight but offers good quality protection- Magnets galore and they’re all really strong- Nice to have the option of a raised landscape view as well as a portrait view- Nice that it has a pocket on the back of the folio case to keep the Apple Pencil safe when it is not in use (especially when on-the-go, putting it into a bag, carrying around, etc.)- Overall quality is great! Even as protective as this case folio is, it is very lightweight!Con:- Only one, if anything, is the Apple Pencil’s pocket being stretched over time, but that is a given (much like other similar materials). Not at all a deal breaker.Overall, this case is absolutely amazing! I have been a longtime user and fan of ESR products; they are always up to par and never fail. 5 stars in functionality and protection, two very important factors when considering cases and products to complement our electronic devices.

The Stand Case compatible with iPad Pro is alright, but it falls short in a few areas. On the positive side, the stand function works well, offering multiple viewing angles, which is convenient for watching videos or video conferencing. The case’s material feels decent and provides some protection for the iPad.However, I found the overall build quality to be just average and I’m concerned about its durability over time.Additionally, the case lacks some essential features, such as a magnetic closure or an Apple Pencil holder, which would have been handy. While the Stand Case gets the job done at a reasonable price, I’d recommend considering other options if you’re looking for a more premium and reliable iPad Pro case.

I already had a case with keyboard but its bulky to carry daily so that I’d rather have a more portable case and this ESR case does fit my need. I do enjoy the fact that the back case is detachable from the stand part so that it can be affixed to the refrig magnetically while I am in kitchen. The elevated mode is also a highlight to me in terms of viewing angle. Another feature is to put your Apple pencil into a cloth pocket outside of the case to avoid accidentally drop off. The case do fit my iPad Air 5th gen except the touch ID is disabled/covered. The case do look sturdy enough to be a long-term daily companion for my iPad Pro 2021.

I really enjoy the fact that this case has two separate pieces, so I can have the thin iPad with a bit of protection on it, but then if I want to prop it up for typing, watching movies, or doing video calls, then that’s super easy to do as well! The magnets are nice and strong, and I haven’t experienced any issues with them in my time using them. I only have two small complaints about the product, and I wouldn’t say they’re deal breakers by any means, but the inner case feels pretty cheap. It seems like it could handle protecting it well enough, but the buttons and the edges just don’t feel refined. My second minor complaint is that if you place the iPad in landscape all the way up on the highest point (as seen in one of my photos), it feels fairly wobbly and I’m not confident in its ability to hold, but I don’t foresee myself using the iPad much at that height anyway. It is very stable at a normal use height, and that’s the key takeaway here. All in all, it’s a great product with a ton of functionality, and I’m fairly happy with it.

Strong magnetic case. Being able to easily change from landscape to portrait mode was an important feature. It is protective but not overly bulky. The flexible “hinge” is holding up really well. No signs of wear after tons of use and half a year. It seemed very expensive but it’s a very good case.

I love the many functions this case give the user. The only downside is the quality feel. It feels cheap, but I suppose that is what you get at this price point. Other than that, it has been great and works great.
