What is the best type of milk for milk foam?

    For frothing, milk must be whole milk with a fat content of 3% or above. Other milk products such as skim milk, low-fat milk, plant milk, yogurt, or nut milk will not froth properly. Using fresh, cold milk (ideally around 50 °F/10 °C) will result in more delicate foam.
