Why won’t my ring stay on my phone case?
Ring adhesion issues are often caused by incorrect installation or incompatible phone cases

Before installation

●Be sure to watch the installation video before putting on the ring

●The ring will only adhere to smooth and hard PC or TPU cases without any fingerprint-resistant coating; it may not adhere to silicone, leather, or glass cases

●We recommend an ESR Classic Hybrid Case or ESR Air Armor Case

During installation

●Be sure to clean the case thoroughly before installing

●Use the alignment guide when sticking the ring on

●The ring must be installed on the back of the case, not the inside

After installation

●Take off the phone case push from the inside of the case onto a hard smooth surface to press the ring firmly onto the case

Once installed

●The ring can be removed, but it cannot be repositioned or reused

Why won’t my phone stay on my charger with the ring installed?
Magnetic lock issues are often caused by incorrect ring installation or incompatible chargers

Please ensure:

●
Your charger is either an official MagSafe Charger or an ESR HaloLock Wireless Charger  *If using with other third-party chargers, ensure the chargers magnets are strong enough to support the phone
●
The ring must be installed on the back of your standard case
●
The ring should be centered on the charger during use
Why is my phone not charging/charging slowly?
Unstable/slow charging is often caused by using incompatible phone models, thick cases, incorrect application of the ring, or the wrong cable/adapter

Please check:

Your phone is

●
Either an iPhone 13 or 12 series phone
●
Or a Galaxy S21/S21 Plus, Galaxy S20/S20 Plus and Galaxy S10/S10 Plus/S10e

Your standard case is

●
Less than 4 mm thick
●
There are no metal attachments or credit cards between the case and your phone

Please ensure:

●
To use the included alignment guide to install the ring
●
The ring is centered on the charger while charging
●
Your HaloLock/MagSafe wireless charger, power adapter, and cable all support an output of at least 18W
●
You are not running too many apps, as this will cause your phone to heat up and charge slower

Additional tips:

●
No wireless charger will be as fast as traditional wired charging
●
Optimized Battery Charging is on by default for iPhone with iOS 13 or later. With this feature enabled, your iPhone will throttle charging after 80%. For more info on this, read: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210512
Why does my phone/ring heat up during charging?
Heat issues are often caused by incompatible phones, incompatible cases, or improper alignment

Please check:

Your phone is

●
Either an iPhone 13 or 12 series phone
●
Or a Galaxy S21/S21 Plus, Galaxy S20/S20 Plus and Galaxy S10/S10 Plus/S10e

Your standard case is

●
Less than 4 mm thick
●
There are no metal attachments or credit cards between the case and your phone

Please ensure:

●
To use the included alignment guide to install the ring
●
The ring is centered on the charger while charging

If you’re having issues with heat:

●
Take off your phone case, unplug the charger and let it cool down
●
Reduce the number of apps and video games open on the phone
●
When the charger has cooled down, plug it back in and resume charging
