Which Galaxy S22 Ultra Storage Size Should You Buy

Do you know what feels like a game-changer? Much likely you probably do not catch the drift as you cannot relate with it yet regarding this article. But read on, as you would soon get a full grasp of the message I’m trying to convey.

In the meantime, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to ask – what are your plans on purchasing the new Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra?

By plans, I mean to ask that what are those things you’re considering before making a purchase? In my case, I had several reservations about what the galaxy S22 series has to offer so, I had heightened anticipation and when Samsung eventually launched the S22 series, it was above my expectations.

Perhaps, you have no idea on those things to put into consideration regarding the Galaxy S22 but I’d help you, anyway.

Before buying a device, there are several things to take into consideration like the major reason for buying, the price, and the features of the device you intend buying to list a few.

Galaxy S22 Ultra 256GB or 512GBIn this case, the Samsung Galaxy ultra has a lot of juicy features but with differing storage space options and it might be a little tricky to select.

Just maybe you’ve surfed the net for ideas, or you have combed every nook and crannies of Samsung’s website or maybe you’ve probably stalked the pages of some famous social media platform handlers for information on what to look out for but yet to get that particular information to convince you, worry not your techie gotcha!

Ever since Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy S22, questions surrounding storage space have been amongst the frequently asked questions.

It’s not surprising that people care to know about this – especially, because Samsung didn’t include an expandable memory for the S22 ultra series. So, when questions like this come up, it’s expected.

Now, I’m about to explain this game-changer I mentioned at the beginning of this article however, I’d rewind a little as I reminisce on what informed my purchase choice.

This game-changer is the different storage space available in the S22 ultra and as a techie, you can safely guess which would be my most preferred storage option – no other than 1TB and I didn’t think twice before buying. It’s safe to say that it was my game changer while making my purchase.

Now, over to you what Storage Samsung S22 Ultra Do You Need?

For this article and to further help simplify your understanding of this article, I’d have two different categories of buyers.

The first category which I’d like to name is the mini-space user and you know what the other category would be called. You’re right, the other category will take the name the heavy-duty space user. Ignore those names as they don’t sound pretty.

So, let me dig deep into these two categories of phone users. The first category of people, the mini-space users, as you may have guessed right what it means just by its name are those users who barely do anything space-consuming on their device.

Take, for example, someone who streams all of his music, videos and plays the game online, this person is less likely to consume storage space on his device. same with one who deals with documents or files that read in kilobytes (kb), such a person will barely use minimal storage space.

So, in such a scenario as above, the mini-space user is likely to purchase a Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra with 256GB – no doubt, this category of users is likely to never run out of storage space.

To the second category of users, the heavy-duty space users (I’m tempted to burst out laughing as I fall into this category too) are users whose activities consume a lot of storage space on the device.

Part of this category of users includes those who love their music downloaded to their devices and listen to them offline and those who enjoy downloading videos to watch offline.

Social media managers and other persons whose device is their office would use a larger chunk of storage space too.

Also, if you’re big on games, and you don’t mind having a playback offline, you’re amongst this category too.

To all of the selfie lovers, you’re likely to consume more space by saving those selfies in your phone gallery. Who doesn’t love to take pictures by the way?

In addition to this category of users, those who love having several apps on their devices and those who wouldn’t declutter their galleries (in the name of keeping memories) are amongst these categories of heavy-duty users.

Except you are one who barely uses their phones except for making or receiving calls and texts, you belong to the latter category. Don’t worry it’s nothing to be shy about as the majority of the people fall into this heavy-duty category too.

I could go on and on giving examples on this particular category of users but that would only prolong your reading.

So, depending on your activities as a heavy-duty space user, there are two options you can pick from the storage space available in the S22 ultra – the 512GB or 1TB.

Basically, it is a matter of personal usage and choice when it comes to choosing which storage space you would like to buy.

While it’s fair enough to advise you to go for the purchase of one with higher storage capacity than you would just be enough to serve your purpose, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to go for one with higher storage space. In all, be sure to make the right decision.

Speaking of which, what would you consider to be the game-changer considering the storage size of the galaxy S22 ultra?

  1. Great review and write up.

I am on the fence between 512 and 256 Gb memory, and cant get the 1 TB. Always have an external micro sd on my Androids, have four Samsungs. (all with curved screens , which look nice but need a case and screen cover…little delicate). Hesitant about the no external sd, but 256 or 512 should work. Pricing and color selection is a consideration.

Could always go for black but the S22 Ultra green is sweet. I always case my phones anyway but a clear case would work as I do not have a green colored phone. Have two blacks 5G Note Ten Plus (a really good phone and my daily driver), a blue, and a gray all from Samsung in the past two years or so.
The Burgandy color looks rich but not a “guy” color in my book. Dark Navy Blue would be sweet, maybe next time.
Wishing you well and all the readers. Aloha.
