Below are 10 Simple tips to charge your iPhone 12/12 Pro/12 Pro max faster:

Toggle on airplane mode

Perhaps you think the airplane mode on your device was for fancy? Sorry to burst your bubble, it has an important function it performs. When it comes to battery consumption, your mobile carrier is a culprit! And when turned on, it slows down the charging capacity of your iPhone 12. So, if it’s difficult to stay away from your device during the period of charging, you can toggle on your airplane mode for a faster charge. This would help turn off your Wi-Fi connection and mobile data.

The downside? You can’t make or receive calls, access the internet while this mode is on. Navigate through to the control center which is located at the upper right corner of the screen to toggle on the airplane mode.

Switch off your phone

You, definitely, must have heard about this before and perhaps never tried it. Switching off your device while charging will help close all other apps (background apps, included) and channel the charging power to the charger thus, allowing your iPhone 12 to charge faster.

To switch off your iPhone 12, press and hold the power buttons alongside any of the volume buttons until the power slider pops up, then move the slider from left to right.

Reduce screen brightness

Except you’re in a poorly illuminated area, you do not need to increase the brightness of your iPhone 12 because this will only consume your battery within a short period of time.

For a faster charge, reduce brightness to the minimum. To do this, navigate through to the control center where you will you’re your screen brightness bar, then move it up or down.

Avoid wireless charging

Contrary to popular belief, wireless charging is a no-no for fast-changing your iPhone 12. Although they are safe and suitable they are just not the fastest means of charging your iPhone 12 because as your phone gets heated up, it reduces the amount of charge in order to protect your phone battery thus making it slower than charging with a USB-C cable.

The slow charge is a result of the imperfect alignment of your iPhone 12 coil with those in the wireless charger. Another downside of the wireless charger is that it consumes more electricity.

However, the iPhone 12 Pro has a magnetic zone (Magsafe) on the back of the device which allows you to pair MagSafe accessories like the Halolock magnetic wireless charger which keeps your device perfectly aligned to the charging pad.

Take off the protective case

While a protective case protects your device from falls, scratches, and bumps, it is not advisable to have it on your device while charging as it may obstruct the heat flow of your device. iPhones are programmed to automatically reduce the charging speed when the phone heat level rises, thus, getting off the protective case during charging may help increase charging speed.

Do not charge and use

It’s tough getting off your device and allowing it to charge but I bet your device would appreciate your kind gestures if you can stay off during the charging time. No fiddling, or calling… just charging.

Disconnect optimized battery charging

The optimized battery charging feature is programmed to be enabled by default on the iPhone 12 Pro in order to monitor charging speed. This makes charging stop intermittently when it gets to a certain percentage and this happens in a bid to increase the lifespan of your battery.

However, you can turn this feature off by navigating through to your phone setting, scroll down and select battery, then click on battery, then battery health and select optimized battery charging, then turn it off.

Use a fast charger

Since the iPhone 12 series comes with just one cable in its box, the USB-C charger, there’s just one alternative way to speed up charging and that is to use the Apple 20W USB-C charger like the 3.3 ft/1m MFi USB-C to lightening PD charging cable which can boost charge to 50% in just 30 minutes.

Use a wall outlet

Ever noticed your device charge slower than usual when charging via your computer USB port? Thus, in order to speed up the charge, be sure to plug directly into a wall outlet.

While some tips are not so popular, they are effective and you can give any of the options above a shot. Hope you found this helpful.
