FAQs
This screen protector is made of flexible PET with a specially treated surface to accurately simulate the feeling of writing and drawing on paper with an Apple Pencil or similar stylus.
Although it provides complete scratch protection for your iPad screen, it does not provide the same level of drop protection or scratch resistance as a tempered-glass screen protector.
It includes 2 screen protectors.
No. It is not recommended. So as to ensure a better, more responsive writing and drawing experience, we recommend only applying the Paper-Feel Screen Protector directly onto your iPad’s screen.
Yes. The screen protector has a precise camera cutout that leaves it unobstructed to ensure flawless Face ID and front camera quality.

I wasn’t entirely impressed with the process to install these. Glad it was a 2 pack, because I wasted the first one trying to get it installed correctly. The instructions I felt weren’t super clear on what to do. The second one I was able to get on.Not sure I like it in general. It does make the screen somewhat dull. It does feel like I’m writing on paper, but I’m not sure if I’d buy again, just for the fact it was hard to install and it takes away from the beautiful display of the iPad itself.

—Updated Review—After leaving my original review below, ESR reached out and address the issue with me promptly. While what I stated in my original review still stands, ESR is a company that genuinely cares about its product and will make things right if you are not satisfied. That is why I have adjusted my stars to this review.—Original Review—The good:I was looking for a paperlike feel screen protector for my iPad Pro 12.9. However, the issue I have come across with other brands is that they push into the edges of my ESR-branded case causing the protector to lift. I figured since I am pretty happy with my ESR case, I might as well get an ESR screen protector.Took two tries but I managed to fit the entire screen protector without the edges lifting up due to the case. In addition, the paperlike feel of this protector is on par with other brands that I have used in the past. However, the negative I have with this protector is enough to affect my rating. The Terrible:To date, I have never had any paperlike feel screen protectors for iPads affect the quality of my display (unlike some privacy screens for the iPhone). However, ESR’s screen protector causes my screen to not only appear darker but causes everything to be hazy. Any text I view on my display is no longer sharp and very dull. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement. I understand the potential to dim the display because of the matte texture of the screen protector, but to cause my display to be hazy and a significant drop in sharpness is unacceptable. Conclusion:If you do not care about your screen resolution or can never really tell the difference, then I guess this protector is a fit for you. Especially if you run an ESR case. However, if you are like me and draw or read intensively on your iPad, then I would look for a different brand of paperlike scree protectors.

Once applied, this screen protector provides not only protection for the screen, but gives a lovely surface that feels more natural for drawing on than just glass alone. It also helped to reduce the amount of reflection from the glass surface as well. The instructions for applying the film were clear and easy enough to follow, although I still managed to make a mess of my first attempt. Tip: as the film is highly static, don’t be tempted to lift it a little to then reapply in an attempt to eradicate air bubbles. I did that, and found that any miniscule bit of dust or fluff floating around stuck to the protector and actually created air pockets that I couldn’t get rid of. I was glad the pack came with 2 protectors! They include a nifty tool for shifting air pockets, so once the film begins to cling, don’t lift it.Overall, the product is just as it says and it comes with adequate tools to help you get the best out of it.

Packaging was great. Everything was well labelled and laid out unlike the other cheap kits you see around eBay. Instructions were clear. Screen protector went on first time with no issues and I have a spare!
