I tried a rock, paper, Pencil removable screen protector first. Really liked the texture of it, but it collected far too much dust when taking it off and on, and it got dirty and smudged very easily. I have an ESR case that I love, so decided to try the screen protector. Easily the best experience I have ever had with installing a screen protector. It was truly phenomenal. Unfortunately, the texture is barely an improvement over the bare glass screen. Writing on it is very slippery and causes my hand to cramp, which never happened with the last screen protector I used. I want to love this matte screen protector, but unfortunately it just doesn’t work well for writing. I will continue my search for something with better texture.

This was my first time using this type of screen protector and I love it.The feel is really like paper and that’s great because we use our IPads for gaming and creative design.The only downside is it lifted a little once we put our IPads in our cases.Now it’s been about two months of us having the protector on our IPads in our cases (that were also purchased from ESR) and the lifting, air pockets, have not moved or spread.Also, it is conducive with the stylus we own.I recommend this for practicality as well as how awesome the screen protector feels.

Packaging was great. Everything was well labelled and laid out unlike the other cheap kits you see around eBay. Instructions were clear. Screen protector went on first time with no issues and I have a spare!

I had an issue applying the screen protector and I reached out to ESR. They responded within 12 hours of sending the email and immediately offered a full replacement, no return necessary. Was an absolute pleasure dealing with them. As for the protector, the paper feel is excellent and provides great friction for the pencil to get a better hold. It also doesn’t affect the screen’s vibrance or colors when using it for other things, which I really appreciated.

I do like the look of the iPad Pro screen with this on, and it doesn\’t create more friction against the Apple Pencil instead of it just clacking against glass, but it will definitely erode your pencil tip. I suppose how much depends on how heavy handed you are, but I only wrote with mine (can\’t draw to save my life) and I didn\’t even write that much, but I wore the tip down fairly quickly. If tips are the cost of doing business for you, then don\’t hesitate to get this, it helps a lot!

I experienced an isolated issue where the #1 tab protector film peeled off the actual screen protector which rendered it useless. I contacted their customer service and they were amazing. They apologized for the inconvenience and sent me a new pack. This time, I installed the paper-like screen protector without a hitch. It was easy to install and the #1 & #2 film protector tabs weren’t cemented on this time and peeled off effortlessly. I love the paper-like feel.
