I haven’t had any problems with Face ID with protector on.
When installing the screen work in a dust free environment and just prior to installation use small piece of cello tape to gently tap and grab any stray dust from the screen.

I order this product for my ipad air..was little cautious about installation as it can be nightmare…but this was very easy…relief…had little bumble but disappear aftr some wrk…proctector seems scratch resistant.less fingerprint aftr use…nic product

I’ve tried ESR and SPIGEN products before this one. Quality of Ztotop is equivalent to Spigen. Work great with touch display. The installation was great with the plastic around the iPad. Does not attract fingerprints and the glare is really minor compare to ESR.

So, it was very easy to install. No bubbles, the screen is on perfectly. Wasn’t cracked when it came in. The sensitivity is good still. I don’t feel the crack from my main screen anymore. Feels very sturdy and like it’s gonna last long. I’m glad it includes a wet wipe, a cloth, a sticker, and a frame to put the screen protector on perfectly. It’s very useful. But that is where my praise ends. I made sure the screen was squeaky clean but it seems that there was stuff on the screen protector. Which is annoying but when I turn on the screen I don’t notice it. There were some bubbles but it seems they have gone away after a few hours. I is pull recommended buying this product.
