No, it is not as dark as the new gold on the Xs. However I have it on mine and it looks fantastic. Since it is a bumper it hides the darker gold around the edge anyway, and it matches with the pale sort of pink color on the back of the phone really nicely.

I really liked the case, I wanted something very thing but firm, as the phone is big so didn’t want to make it bigger and this case is perfect, it fits good, it’s thin and strong, the case is very soft and nice and It covers all the important parts, speacially on the sides, it is high enough to cover a bit of the screen. I think the only thing bad I can say is that the colour doesn’t look like in the picture, it is a darker green (which is lovely) but not like the one in the phot

Incredibly sleek and minimalist. I was actually very surprised it was so sleek, even though I had purchased the case with that in mind. I guess you could say that it exceeded my expectations. The only gripes I have are the color, and fingerprint not being "fingerprint-free" as advertised. I got the green, and it is not even close to the type of green shown. It’s still not bad looking though. The fingerprint smudged isn’t terrible though, and it doesn’t damper my over all experience.
